Sure Kiki, but which text are you talking about? My translation notes are smaller so that you can distinguish notes from actual things in parentheses from the diary, but if you mean my messages before the quoted text then the reason I make them small is because they're not important so only people who really want to read them can read them and other people can ignore them lol. If you mean the quoted text, then should I just not quote the post anymore? For me, quoting makes it distinguish what I translated completely by myself from what other people translated and I'm just correcting things. If you want me to stop quoting though I can do that. ^^;; EDIT: And I highlight everything because word choice is also half chosen by the translator. And if it's not all my wording, but I feel that it sounds better one way, I will change it, but that doesn't mean that you have to accept it that way. It's more of a, "Well, you're right, but I think this may be a better way to say it" type of suggestion, so I bold everything so that people can choose what they want to keep from their own translations and what they want to accept from my translations. I don't expect people to just take everything that I post and replace the hard work that other people have done.... that would defeat the whole purpose of this being a forum, and I don't want to disrespect the people that worked hard to translate this before me. It's more of a "these are what I think sound more fluent, you can change what you want." It's also for the people who may not necessarily want to read every part of the diary all over again to see what is different. When the wording is bold, they can find the different places more quickly and read the corrections only instead of the whole thing. It was more to make it easier for people, but I can stop if you don't like it lol ^^;; Edited by Hatsumichan, Jan 10 2012, 06:04:34 AM.

Yep, I actually live in Japan right now. Uhh if you're asking about a YUI only forum, I don't think there is one, but I'm not sure. For J-pop forums, Japanese people aren't so big on "forums" as they are on 「掲示板」 - "message boards" or "bulletin boards." So instead of having it set up topic by topic like this forum is, it's just a spam of people's messages on a website that can technically be about anything that falls under the main topic. So lets say the topic is YUI. People will just post anything they want about YUI and all their posts would just be piled one after the other in chronological order. (Not that I know of one that talks about YUI. Most of them just post on her message board on her website) So that being said, YUI's official message board might be the site that is closest to what you want. You won't be able to talk to fans directly per say, but you can read what they write to YUI and you can write to YUI and her staff on the message board if you can write in Japanese. Other websites that MAY have something that you're looking for would be social networking sites that are popular to the Japanese. Mixi is a big one. And Twitter is really popular in Japan right now. I hope this kinda answered your question? :sry |

Hatsumichan, yes, answered. And explained well. Thank you. :) :) Now I no longer need to ask about it in the forum. You already explained well how things are. I liked the message board in YUI official web site. But the reason I search this japanese forum is that think only interest to the Japaneses idolize their singer.
