@@ wow that is like a WALL of questions hahaha.... i guess you guys should prepare yourselves for a wall of answers then!
1) Sell the tickets! I prefer watching hockey at home with the TV to be honest haha...don't wanna deal with the chaotic/rabid fans unless I'm one fo them... I'd use the money to save up for future YUI purchases or my future traveling funds. It'd be a win win situation for those who want those tickets and for me! 2) So hard! I love both. Laugh away wins by a sliver....only because I have some memories attached to it where I sang Laugh away with one of my Japanese students. I was so happy to hear Summer Song live though..i've been waiting to hear that for a while! Both songs are great to listen to while driving out on a nice sunny warm day with the windows rolled down 3) Realistically, I would gather resources/scope the surroundings to figure out how I could survive and communicate for help....boring i know 4) Africa as well - I wanna see lions! or somewhere in the Amazon 5) "It's all right" ?
1) I'd save her with my swift abilities like my spidey sense that doenst exist haha and catch her fall ! Posted Image 2) Not really. I appreciate great vocal abilities but I end up finding it boring over a long period of listening to them sing because their singing style or the types of songs that are written/composed for those types of vocals are very "epic"-ess and I actually think it limits them as they produce albums (cos they end up with a genre throughout the entire album). It took me a while to warm up to YUI's voice as a Westerner but you can feel how much emotion there is through her songs 3) YUI's written songs for herself but for others as well...people just sharing the love! haha Also...thanks to those stories of youtube stars, or whatever people get the chance to perform get feedback or even get scouted~ 4) Loyal, worry-wart, YUI fanatic? lol 5) Why kiki ? haha: talented, hardworking, & Mr. YUI-encyclopedia
1) First chatted with you online via skype--you were so shy and quiet! But never judge a book by its covers haha you're a very bubbly person! 2) Too many! Highlights: going to the airport and welcoming YUI and meeting YLers! chatting with YUI's staff, meeting everyone & having a blast at the concert venue, being backstage/rehearsals for YUI's concert and being on stage! 3) As some of you may already know, I got locked outta my uncle's HK apartment till 2 AM. It sucked....so bad...ruined part of my trip 4) The concert itself, being on stage/backstage with YUI and band being so close! When YUI/band greeted us and said Hello, when she ran across/behind me I think my heart stopped beating or I stopped breathing...i couldn't believe she was RIGHT there...and seeing YUI wear the LED glasses! 5) YUI's 2011 Live in Hong Kong was an unbelievable, epic experience and it wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our fellow YUI-Lovers!

Also would've stayed longer after the concert and chatted more with Icchy after he tried to help us get our dancer passes back and ask if I could meet YUI haha or sneak into the Japanese group of people and pretend to be a nihon-jin 3) hmm I'd like to try Europe for a bit but I think my need for Asian goods is too great haha I'm spoiled living here in Vancouver. Maybe Hong Kong or somewhere that's got a diverse and open minded culture perhaps 4) I'd love to visit singapore and to meet you all! Any chance to travel is great but of course it depends if I have time and money 5) inside I would be fuming!!! I would be upset for a while but i would've warned them ahead of time that it's a fragile shelf and if they wanted to see smthn I would get it for them.
1) Well I think YUI would be able to work it out...she seems to be a strong minded and logical person but I'd probably tell her that she shouldn't waste her energy being upset over someone isn't able to accept her for who she is and that she deserves a better guy or to put that energy into a song! haha 2) suave eh? hmm i can't seem to put YLer in mind ...maybe depyon back in the day? 3) :rolleye could it be you? j/k i don't really have anyone in mind (for now...watch your back YLers! j/k) 4) HER GUITAR! or her diary/journal ...maybe just any object she'd spend time where she can be creative and share her thoughts. **great referencing panda haha.... love this song! :hee 1) Not one thing to be proud of. I don't expect to be (pfftt lie! ha I'm proud of embarrassing myself and doing the es.car dance in a public park with my friends but whatever! it all worked out ^__^) 2) To be honest, they're strangers to me (I'd like to meet them) 3) I'll have the usual herbal green tea (cos I like cold asian tea) 4) I'm sure a couple of YUI songs have encouraged me in the smallest ways to just do things...but there hasn't been one song that has affected me to the point where I'd make a drastic decision. 5) I'll disappear completely (i do wonder at times what things would be like if I had never existed)
1) YUI wins by a lifetime of fandom haha! 2) That would be super exciting! I'd love to document her song creating process or some sort of commentary/documentary on the Japanese music industry and the creative industries along with her thoughts on the youth's education system....it'd be interesting since she left school to pursue her dream. OR I'd love to work with her staff on her North American tour muahahahaha or really just any small project even her campaign visiting the Miyagi prefecture and the kids is inspiring ....or maybe in the future have her consider creating/designing her own studio or live house for future bands/young artist to perform 3) Kikino will never and swears to his life ever quit his admin job! lol NEVER....To be honest, I feel like my strength is in supporting the admin...can you guys sub-rank me hahaha jk...but if I was asked, I guess I would take it on~ why not? well my time i suppose...that's the only thing..and plus my knowledge of Japanese is so limited I'm not sure if I'd be able to help that much. 4) You were much taller than I thought you'd be! And so glad you had such great energy and a louder voice cos we totally carried the CHE.R.RY singing momentum at the airport ^__^ 5) I love durian..especialy when it's frozen and I eat it like a popsicle...I won't obsess over it though..only when it's around...I think my lips are slightly allergic to them LOL...jackfruit doesn't really taste like much but I'll nibble at it for fun.... 1a) I have a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) with a dual concentration in Media Arts & Design 1b) Interestingly enough I've been pondering about this over the last few days and my answer would probably still be yes I'd do it again but maybe as a Minor instead or I'd take up another major as well? With the unique nature of our school projects and with some of material we covered and the opportunity to travel through Italy to meet/discuss with a few Design industry and architectural firmst was hellishly stressful but the experiences made it worthwhile. I don't think I've ever seen myself so productive. It had pushed me to do things I would probably never do in my life if I just went through a general arts degree. I'm really happy to have had the chance in participating in these projects and have had them displayed in different conferences down in Georgia to London and back at home. To be honest, my post-secondary education consumed me like most design schools. I was losing a night of sleep on a weekly basis for 6-8 months...it was very unhealthy. The downside/negative side of it all was that I think I became ignorant of everything else. It had affected who I was...I became more critical of everything and lost myself in this "design thinking" to the point where it had been influencing my relationship with friends. Everything actually wore me out...I was exhausted by it and I was not happy with some students' narcissistic attitudes on what they thought what good design should be/can't be. Now that I've taken almost a year off from it...I'm starting to see how I've changed and starting to question where design fits into my real life (not a student life). Where does design fit or how can I or should I make it fit into my life? Do I care enough about it to make it a reality? I'm at that point where I feel slightly discouraged as there's not enough variety/opportunities within the creative industries for young graduates to continue their learning and growing simulatenously. I remember chatting with someone and we both said how we felt like we could really make a difference in the world after going through our education and when reality hits...it almost seems impossible to. Another facet about this talk about me and design is that I'm not sure if my personality is fit for it anymore. Within the school environment, I guess I was able to separate myself from being "student" and "georgina." I'm somewhat of an anxious person (i think I have anxiety disorder at times LOL) but the design world and myself just sometimes didn't seem to parallel well together. I think I have the foundation of a designer but I'm not sure if "georgina" has grown to be at the level where she can do something with it? Ah it's so weird talking about myself in third person haha! I can say that I can appreciate design and it's potential/power to make a difference in the world even if it can spark someone to start questioning themselves is a worthwhile . I think I'm an idealist-realist type of person...I hope for such things but the reality of things bear so much more weight in my mind making it difficult to carry through such enthusiasm sometimes. 1c) Well, as noted earlier, I do think I'd like to take on another major/minor. I think what I got from my degree was this "design thinking" ability but I feel like I need something more technical or applicable to compliment what I've learned. Perhaps marketing, communications or event planning/logistics/management...But it'd be cool to learn more practical things like....why is it that nobody teaches you about basics in finances? the moment you're out as a student, dealing with banking/taxes etc. just comes outta nowhere and you're expected to just "know it" there are other things like this maybe like farming! who knows, what if there is a disaster and you're isolated and the only thing you know is accounting and nothing else about basic survival tactics....haha okay this is a bit extreme. Anyway but for fun, if i could have the ability to have sudden knowledge "inputted" into me like Neo Posted Image I'll list them: Languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish), Asia-Pacific relations/history, Culinary Arts, Food&Nutrition, some form of Martial arts, archery, Music composing (creating sound effects/scores), a few musical instruments, Architecture/Urban planning, Programming, Business >> and then have it all make sense somehow so that I can make a living...hahaha 2a) A career realistically ..... i) Desktop publishing? Photographer? Video editor? Interface designer? *if i could program/code Web designer* ii) Event planning/PR/Logistics?? iii) Something in Education perhaps, ESL to student counseling of some sort iv) wishful but a government job--could be anything I don't care too much cos it'd be for job security and benefits 2b) If I could pick a career in a fantasy world .....and why.... i) Work with YUI ha! I don't care as what... ii) Stage set/design/special effects - building those crazy set models for films like the mini models; would love to be involved in making things for large productions, I guess i'd like to say I had a hand in that? iii) A job that would let me travel the world...not as a flight attendant though...I just wanna see as much as I can and meet different people. 3) If YUI's coming in the afternoon, I'd have to make sure jet lag doesn't hit her so the first day is going to have to be an adventurous one! I'm not gonna make a full itinerary here, cos a lot of this is going to be irrelevant to some people who don't know anything about Vancouver. Vancouver is blessed to have a mountain, beaches, rivers, forests (hiking trails), urban districts, everything that could be all be 'touched based' on in a day or two but...I wouldn't want to rush her along. Since she seems to enjoy the outdoors, I'd def take her up for a drive up to Whistler and even try ziptrekking with her. Or go to the Capilano suspension bridge for a walk to let her see the Pacific Temperate Rainforest which is mostly located in our area and is the largest area in the world that has this special forst. I'd even go kayaking with her out in the water around Bowen Island. Maybe show her the salmon hatchery too. I'd take her to a lot of different styled food places from French to Italian to Western Japanese styled izakayas (cos we have so many different types of sushi , it's diff from Japan.) i'd take her to the self made boutique shops/artisan places....I'd take her to Granville Island to the public market for fresh baked goods to this awesome fresh produce/foods then take a little aqua bus across the water into Downtown and check out Gastown. Show her the street area where lots of performers to go. If there's a night event I'd take her to a gig or smthn....but really I'd emphasize to her that, unlike fast-paced urban Tokyo, Vancouver is the most laid-back city in the world haha...we like to take our time with a lot of things...it's not super slow like in the country side but there's lots of space and freedom to do whatever you want at any pace you choose. since Vancouver recently had the winter olympics, I'd also take her to a few of the new structures like our skytrain system vancouver is super unique that we have huge populations of asians from Korean to Japanese to Chinese/Taiwanese to Indian to Vietnamese, Philippine + other SE etc. tons of communities, hence great asian food! I'd take her to the unique places for her to sample... there's also a gelato place that serves over 300+ flavors...totally going to take her there to see what she chooses haha. I don't really wanna dwell on all the options cos I'll start sounding like a tour guide (which I kinda already do for some job) I'm gonna stop here...haha cos there's too much to explain.
1) Haha it's true man, I don't see you post super often...so hard to grasp an impression but you seem to be good 'lad! 2) I'd probably keep it a secret but I think I'll be leaving enough hints for people to figure out ^__^ 3) omg I would not just listen to her song I'd friggin fly my way over to Japan to watch a live concert! But yes if I had to only pick a song. 1) I do like the song LOL...i just tend to skip it a lot while I'm driving...Not sure why..that song takes a good minute before I get into it.../shrugs/ 2) Chinese so I can make sure I can get around without being scammed or something I actually dont have a huge interest in the language...its just so I can communicate...I'd rather be able to speak an European language fluently cos they sound much nicer to the ear...like French or Italian or Spanish.....though some argue they like the sound of mandarin ...personal preference 3) this Japanese yeast bread in maple flavor or the hokkaido cream flavor one...with tea 4) I'd talk to YUI about what other places she'd like to visit, maybe ask what she thinks of Canada and maybe discuss over silly things like movies or the cultural differences...discuss about ramen! ..and I'd probably let her know that ever since her Birthday present from YL, I was the girl who was on stage and gave her the glasses, girl who chatted with her stylist/sony manager, the Canadian person they talked about during the Air-G radio show and the person she answered in B-PASS magazine ...I've had so many encounters with YUI/staff but never a super direct one except for the twitter questions...BUT STILL I'm the same person >__< lol...sorry I'll stop gloating here........actually I'd love to have like a drawing/painting session with her haha... 5) I'd love for YUI to ....really keep doing what she's doing for as long as she can...but I'd love it if her staff would just release a darn Youtube channel! and products in Blu-ray HQ quality! It'd be cool if she could do an Asia tour...and I'd love to see her back on YUI-Locks or Radio for sure!

:what 1) Patient, Confident, Honest/Humble in a classy way 2) Hopefully nothing ??? 3) Hmm i dunno maybe go star gazing ? 4) I'm sure there's something i'd hate that he likes so..I'll make an agreement with him that I'll let him have his personal space with so and so and he'll let me have mine. 5) I'm sure at one point there will be tears...tears of joy, laughter, sadness, anger...the entire emotional spectrum. That's part of a relationship no? being able to be your full self with your other...that's just pure honesty within the relationship i think...
1) Besides the A-tracks... Separation is probably my fav. I just love how she sings some of the verses 2) I love it. haha. I'm at the point where I cannot compare YUI's albums with eaach other. Each one is unique and has its own feel to it that I can appreciate. The tracks flow/transition is very well done in this album...the only odd thing i have to say is that I feel like 'Rain' is out of place. Even though I love that song...It's a solid album with different styles/instruments. It's a refreshing album. 3) I think as YUI grows and experiences more things in life, it'll show in her music. So yes her music will grow but I don't think she needs to re-invent her self. Why fix something that works so well? Maybe the word to use is how will she be more innovative? I'm not too worried about that either because I feel like she has been innovative with each album she takes on. Adding new songs, different patterns and whatnot....so i dont think there's anything that needs to change on her part....maybe just her management of media goods LOL 4) So jealous! 20 days, get the JR Pass and make good use of it but make sure you plan for some downtime travelling cos I was super exhausted! If you are really planning to go to Fukuoka to do the whole YUI pilgrimage...haha try to find Shin Shin cos i miseed that...but for ramen, inside the Hakata mall, red building with the funky architecture, go to Ichiran. i think YUI mentioned it before but I didntknow but IT'S SO GOOD haha. Honestly, I did the homestay thing for most of the days but I find hotel/hostel is best (more comfortable as u don't have to worry about going in and out at times). Or even couch surfing! Make a vague itinerary but know that you wont need to stick to it. Don't bother going to Tokyo Disneyland (unless u want to find specific Tokyo Disneyland goods). Be out and about, eat lots of good food!~ I liked going to the Tsukiji fish market in the early morning in Tokyo...and having breakfast there. The Odaiba area was cool, nice view of the Rainbow bridge in Tokyo. I really hung around Harajuku for shopping...but I loved going there during the weekend and walking through the park near the Meiji shrine. Go have a picnic there or smthn. So many people relaxing and doing their own performances from bands to artists to martial artists. I think it really depends on what types of things you like to see. I'm interested in going to a few musuem/galleries too so I try to check out what exhibits they have on cos some are only there or a limited time. At the same time go check out some night gigs too http://www.tokyogigguide.com/ , since you can manage ur way with Japanese, you might find it easier. Just have extra money for transit, it's expensive...but if youre out late the trains do stop (which is a bummer for self-traveling, you can't split the taxi LOL) 5) Sadly, I think that Samart guy from YL was there but Im not sure anymore. I think he manages or goes around the music scene..he's helped get some bands together to perform a indie concert tour across Canada. And...most of the YUI fans in Japan I know..well the biggest one I know is a 15 yr old in Yamaguchi haha..and i know a few university students in Kyoto but I'm not sure if any of them are huge YUI fans...and i know them cos they've been to Canada but they're all students =/ so it'd be awkward for you and them probably to meet since they're like 16-17? Sorry T__T. Try couchsurfing and getting in contact with people who wanna practice English.
1) I'd be O___O haha :shock overwhelmed but I'd probably tackle it a week or just be selective of which ones I'd wanna answer 2) Actress ....Ueno Juri? Actor.....can't seem to recall..i havne't watched enough dramas/movies but I'll recognize their faces 3) Other than YUI related items (especially the yellow YUI Staff hapi) ....i'm actually not sure I don't think I have one thing i'm particularly attached to ...my bed? LOL ...my macbook/hard drives? it has all my data of pictures and things... 4) So I didn't answer #3 properly ha...so Yes I would be able to let go of things. but I'll probably have my YUI stuff to ask her to sign it. 5) Hunt 'em down! And ask for them to compensate ...I dunno with such a shady deal like that I'd probably ask to see what they are offering first and see at hand what it is to make sure there's no fake in it and write some sort of contract.

Okay haha yes I didn't really answer your question. I couldn't really answer it cos I don't exactly have one specific item that has a huge sentimental value....all the stuff that i have, from pictures, collected birthday cards, letters etc....are somewhat sentimental to me but I'm not super attached it in a physical material way?...So in the case of data/hard drives...a lot of my data are photos/memories, my school work projects and well it's part of my life history. I'm the kind of person that has trouble letting go of things..because the past is important to me. I am a very nostalgic person and I do cherish the times spent with my friends and the experiences we've had together or on my own trips. I also have this tendency without thinking of documenting something I experience...it's like second nature to me to whip out the camera and take a picture ...But yeah I don't want to make it sound like yes i'll drop everything for YUI cos I don't think these things are replaceable. I know if my hard drives all fail on me at once...I'll move on (i'll be devastated, but I'll have to)....i guess it'll live in my memories....so let's say yes I could let it all go to meet YUI cos it'll probably be another unforgettable experience....and that future experience and doing things is more important than looking back and living in memories that wont help me move on. This was a long winded answer....lol...so it seems like a really tough decision for me. And..if I had to let go of all my YUI stuff to meet YUI, Yes I would cos all of that stuff can be replaceable.
1) So a foolish misunderstanding between the two of us and not over one person's silly mistake right? and we haven't broken up yet....then it's clearly is a miscommunication problem and he's not patient enough to understand my view since I don't want to break up with him in this situation ..... then i'll choose - bits of "Love is all" and "Merry Go Round" 2) "Laugh away" "Tomorrow's way" "Sea" "its happy line" ....they just seem hopeful ^__^ 3) i've been feeling "It's all too much" "Rolling star" "again" "How crazy" 4) I'd listen to "I'll be" to remind me that it's the music that'll make me feel good and okay 5) "Sea" or "Your Heaven" somewhere peaceful and calm |

Lock On sound like a video game title haha... 2) Hmm I'll stick to the name: gotchi personality/description: observant, has quick reflexes and is witty/intelligent but lazy...more of an offensive type of character powers: parkour powers lol...okay actually a super power like teleportation 3) Villain name: GC Because she somehow took my real name initials? LOL so random... Personality for the villain: complex, highly motivated Power: identity theft! 4) A mix of adventure/action with solving puzzles to acquire new level ups/weapons and battles with sub-bosses/bosses 5) Some sort of epic sounding background/soundtrack like Terminator haha

1) Most probably a timeline of what had happened to earth. And if people are still alive, track down what happened to people close to me and figure out why i was place in a cryogenic suspension. 2) - An Apple Product (iPod/Macbook whatever) - Solar Panel, besides technology,.... - an organic life form of some kind like an animal that was going extinct - a frozen piece of ice from the Arctic ? (since a lot of history of things can be found inside a piece of ice, like oxygen levels and stuff), - some sort of historical/art landscape of unique cities ? 3) Hmm at this point...I'd love to see a YUI live on my own but because of my lack of Japanese I'd probably always need a helping ear with me to help transalte things haha ...but either way I'd still watch a YUI live on my own, it'd be a much more intimate/focused live performance. |
