SNSD can not compete with KARA in Japan yet Totally know why the sales are so low. SNSD is indeed a HUGE threat. If YUI's sales can manage to be number 1 in the next four days -- it'll be considered one heck of an album but with SNSD revealing theirs on the 5th, it could drop for all we know. But just believe and let's see what happens! :)

It's just the Japan licensed version of their latest Korean album. All the songs are sung in Korean, so hopefully less people will buy it and buy YUI's album instead. =P But damn, why did they choose to release it on November 5? That's like in the middle of the week. @by8n7: SNSD are pretty big album sellers. Their debut Japanese album sold 230k first week and about 600k+ total and it's still charting.

Okay there has been lots of magazine coverage and stuff, but everything has happened in less than a month which i think everybody considered it was too soon. There is the Hong Kong factor too. Even some of us prefered getting a HK version because of the extra goodies, so that had an influence in domestic sales. The tour will be in this case the most important tol to promote the album, so this time the first week of sales is not really determining imho. Edited by Kikino!, Nov 3 2011, 11:51:11 AM.
