The answers to imperfects us!

I have been playing the EG for like a year, was thinking of getting some pedal.
Which pedal should I get first before getting others? :D Or should I get a effect pedal board?
Teachings? Onegaiishimasu!

BB preamp :P http://www.xotic.us/effects/bb_preamp/
YUI has one but the dual type "sort of" (BB plus). http://www.xotic.us/effects/bb_plus/

what song do you like to play?
a common question from guitar shopkeeper :P

multi-effect cost less but usually doesnt sound better than good customized pedals
i suggest this one :D

it's cheaper than bb preamp and has more features, but it doesnt has good pre-amp :(

uh, bb plus was seen in again pv, however, if you have checked out pictures of her effects board for the past year, she's been using the normal bb preamp.

multifx for the win :3

can't really say that multifx have lousier "quality" than stompboxes, its all about getting the settings right

if u manage to tweak the settings properly, u can get almost any kind of sound u want. but of course the problem comes in trying to get the "perfect" setting, thats where stompboxes come in - u want the crunchy Big Muff sound? just get the Big Muff pedal.

trying to replicate the sound on a multifx requires much more effort and time.

i'd recommend Digitech, Boss or Zoom if u wanna get a multi :D

Somehow... I'm tempted to get a DigiTech Bad Monkey... just because of its name.

When I got my guitar, I was introduced to this Boss eBand JS-8 http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=1027&ParentId=250. It's not really an effects pedal... but all functionality of the GT-10 are built into it. (Or that's what the seller said)

Price wise... it was a huge turnoff for me. But it's almost 2.5 times cheaper in SG!
