Hello everybody. After much debating (lie) we came to the conclusion that it is time to make a clean up regarding inactive users in the forum. So, in three weeks from now all users who have not logged into the forum for 180 days or more will be deleted from the database. This will help us to have a better idea of how many real user do we have, get rid of forgotten accounts, bots, Sony spies and so on. So if you are reading this and you haven't logged into the forum for a period longer than 6 months, just log in and your head wont roll :P Thats it! |

Heh, just logged in to check. It's been ages since I last visited or posted here - sure is nostalgic X3 I might end up getting deleted but yeah, it's quite cool to see this site and community again X3b And oh, wow, there's even an IRC Channel now. Hm, i don't think this 'clean up' thing is necessary.. I know some people who aren't online here anymore because of various reason (maybe because they kinda lost interest to YUI, concentrating on their school, or just forgot about YUI's great music), but I believe some people eventually will come back here again.. And I think 160 days is way too short.. can you extend the time period to at least 1 year / 365 days ? |

I don't agree with that at all ^ :rolleye I've never been so busy as I am now in my life, and I think everyone noticed that Im not as acitve as I used to be, but still i find time to check YL at least once every 180 days =P So if they stay away for a year, it definetley means they left here... So if they wanna come back, why not create a new account? |

agree and disagree agree that we need to clean up the inactive members but there were some awesome members that left... kinda want to remember them can we not mass message them about this and wait a week before this happens? |

You all should be recieving a notification on your emails. So if you have an account here, youll get a total of three notifications before november 15th I think that should be enough to bring somebody back and login in the forum. If someone didnt come here when HITS was released I dont think they are interested on having an account here anyway. And, sorry, the limit for inactive users is 180 days. I was planning of doing it for one year but zetaboards sucks. In the worst scenario, If it happens that once upon a time you really loved YUI and then completely forgot about it for 6 months, maybe it will pass another 6 months and then you will remember oh! I used to Love YUI. maybe you will take a look around and when you wanted to leech her latest PV you will notice your account was deleted. crap. Ill make a new one. End of story But I think that forgetting your password is more possible that that. @XwingsofaresX: it doesnt matter. just login from any browser... and I see that you did :P @PWRTSM: If you want, we can make "The wall of the YL fallen" after the clean up, so we all can remember our founding fathers :P Edited by Kikino!, Oct 25 2010, 07:03:47 PM.

Ummm.... I didn't receive any email about this..... That could be a problem for less active people. Does this mean we could be in danger of losing some of our historic members? Teo Awa Sherwin Snake Fanny (To name just a few.) Geeze....we were almost in danger of losing Brad and Anna. I sure hope you have a valid email address for everybody. Do you have the ability to reactivate an inactivated account? |

Snake didn't receive the email but he knows about this whole thing, Teo logged in a few days ago so shes fine, don't know about the others though. kicchan might send another batch of emails. Generally I think we should first clear up members with no posts, give it some time, then work onto members that have been active in the past. |

I think you guys are being too alarmist. We are not in DANGER of LOSING anyone, they are not going to die its just a friggin nickname! And If they don't come here, they are pretty much lost anyway. If they do happen to come someday, they can register again and we can give them 10000 posts in compensation and a conmemorative special range lol. Teo, snake, itsukichan and fanny logged in this month I have no Idea who Awa is. Im guessing aWalk2remember. Joined this month too. Aditz doesnt come here since nov 2009...... Ill send an email Missing anyone else? let me know so I can send personal Emails. I dont wanna be blamed for causing THE YL HOLOCAUST XD |

i dont think u should close out aditz... aditz is our only link to Shine.. who is the ultimate AD... no one else can reach shine besides aditz. IMO keep all the Mods and AD... even the inactive ones... it might be the only handful of inacts we should keep just because if we axe them we're not gonna hear the last of it :P |

Okay...my warning emails finally came through....why would it take so many hours to get my emails?
