OH YEAH! Posts: 189 Group: YUI Lovers Member #7,254 Joined: Feb 21 2008	no offense to you guys but here are some of my tips on making banners Keep it simple. The main goal of the banner is to present YUI, put the title of the album and to insert the YL logo, release date and album covers somewhere. Just that. Don't add stuff that are not needed. Text. Make sure it's readable. Don't add fancy effects and filters that can make the text not easy to read. Make sure the fonts you use give the "Holidays in the sun" feel. Don't use too many types of fonts too. Colors. Stick to a color scheme. Usually I base mine from the photo I used. I don't use a red text when there's no red in the picture. Just like that. YL logo. Don't alter it too much. Just make sure it can be seen and it blends with the colors of your banner. Sorry if I sound like I'm bragging or if I hurt anyone's feelings. :sry I know not all of us here are graphic design experts or something (I can't call myself one either) and some of you are just making banners for the first time. I hope I somehow helped you guys. :good
