well well guys its that time again to have our new YL banner contest on the count of YUIs new single To Mother~!! We have plenty of time until the release giving yall lots of time to design, vote, and revamp our layouts! yayyyyy anyways everyone will get until the 15th of May to design their banners! after that we will have the rest of the time to vote and our new layout will be up and running when the new single is released like last time... we will have the top 3 contestants with the highest number of votes be our new banners rotating on top. so here are the rules: (please follow them carefully) 1. All banners MUST be 930px × 300px sized! (if u dont know what that size is... check out the current banner!) 2. All banners MUST have the To Mother theme. 3. All banners must have the official YL logo. (here is the logo) Posted Image 4. All banners must have the To Mother Release date on them. 5. All banners must have the covers of the releasing single or album, and if needed both labeled regular or limited edition accordingly. 6. Banners may be any color with or without animation (but preferably sticking to the colors of the general theme of the single or album. 7. And lastly 4 Banners MAX per member. I encourage everyone to make one if you want to participate. the deadline for the submissions are May 15th 2010 please submit your banners here on this thread. Thank You All and GOOD LUCK! |

Maybe the new layout can be used for both if they make a similar color scheme covers... wich I doubt. If that happens we could rotate both, album and single banners during like 1 month and then put only the album ones. |

As always, I already made mine. It's pretty simple but I like that kind of logos (I specially liked MY SHOT STORIES logo, it was made by Brad, right?). I always think that it's time to make a new logo, so I thought that it would be cool it it were similar to the YUI-net logo, and I made one. Manuel i like your banners especially your first 1. Its bright and cheery looking. But YUI close up FTW XD i was also wondering if we can change the official logo to a piano with YL F&F. I have tests at the moment but will be free to finally finish something that didnt take 5 mins. |

Last time I tried to re-design YL logo I got brad crying for weeks... so. try to use our classic logo for the contest. :P We could start using to Mother banner earlier too. |

stfu kiki! i didnt cry.. just persuasively convinced but yeah... lets try to keep the classic logo.. urs is undoubtedly cool and more modern, but we're hoping to keep tradition... even though is an older style and kinda tacky sometimes ..The old logo kinda reminds us of what YL is.. trying to go for what the coca-cola logo does |

Heres my first one :) its kina cluttered but i liked the idea of the photos like on the YUI website. it was super hard :angry just using powerpoint and paint but i did it! hope some of you actually like it :) -EDIT- i fixed some stuff..... i wanted it to turn out better than it did but im too fustrated to fix it up. :what There were only meant to be 3 YUIs in the banner but i messed up in the sizing and the original one i started with now looks out of place.
