Nope... I want to help... But I've got a question first... Do this work in a similar way to wikipedia? I mean, I'm responsible for making the YUI's wikipedia article in spanish, so I know a little bit about "how to do certain things there", but this could only help if making a Wikipedia's page is at least barely similar to making a page of YUIkipedia. |

Its almost the same. And I say almost because there are some templates missing/not working properly at the moment. Also the language system to link similar pages works different. I will talk about it today or tomorrow when I sort it out. Beside that, its all the same. same wiki code, and all. Is he name of the content of each page. Example: http://www.yui-lover.com/wiki/Rolling_star The page name is Rolling_star or Rolling star (without the _) it will work either way. Be carefull with capitol letters. "Rolling star" and "Rolling Star" will lead you to different pages. So thing carefully before chosing a new page name. (Pages can be moved afterwards, but let's try to avoid post moderation :P) Edited by Kikino!, Mar 24 2010, 05:36:15 AM.

Got an idea... one of us more observant folks could write dedicated articles about YUI's guitars. Since the regular Wikipedia already has massive articles for the more famous instruments, like the Tele and Strat, we should write our articles from scratch and maybe a word about how they relate to YUI's music. I'm sure that this is more complicated than simply writing it in Word and pasting it on the website right? [If I can spare the time] I would love to write an article about the Fender Tele since I own one myself. If I understood Japanese a whole lot better I'll be able to include YUI's comments on it in past interviews which are on Fender.jp website. |

@ Kikino! I found something weird on CAN'T BUY MY LOVE page. The aphostrope using japanese font or something else. I you type manually, http://www.yui-lover.com/wiki/CAN'T_BUY_MY_LOVE , it will bring you to "edit new page" page. Try this, CAN'T BUY MY LOVE. Should we change it? I found this will be hard to pretend since the character isn't similiar. I prefer using the normal ' than the current one. |

whoaaaaaaaa! you guys are really getting farther! well, this is really a good idea. it'll really help a lot to all the fans. and what's good here is, LANGUAGE won't anymore be a barrier. this might even help spreading the "YUI LOVE" we call across the wooooorld.. anyway, i agree with Ids-san. "YUIpedia" sounds better and it's easier to remember.. hehe.. :clap and uh, since i'm still new here and i still don't know a lot in this kind of stuff, i will just support you guys! i do love this idea so i guess, i will just be here to give my support. hehe.. but i will still try my best (all that i can) because it would really be an honor if i could contribute something for everybody.. probably, i'll just scan everybody's work first before i try to have one for e-va-ri-ba-di :D hehe soooo... gambatte nee minna! yosh! Japanese Wikipedia says the producer is a person called "西尾芳彦" (Google Translate it as "Nishio Yoshihiko") But English Wikipedia says the producer is YUI herself I don't know @@ |
