Well, I have a question to Admins))) Russian fan club exists only as a group on social website VKontakte (http://vkontakte.ru - you must have an account to be able to see everything) and we wanna have forum or fansite. But unfortunately, no one goes to my forum I created (though all group admins tried to call members there) so I got an idea of asking you to allow us exist here, on YL. You'll get an advantage: more YLs! What do you think? |

Hmm don;t listen to me since I have no authorization here but,,, I do understand your problem, though, there are lots of other groups of people here, for example Indonesian or Philipinas. The next thing would be for them to ask for a subforum too... That way it would be kinda unfair... btw, how many Russian fans are there? Because I think you'll need a large group to convince the admins |

Hi LilianaDC! Nice to see another russian member here~ I'm from Russia, but I may surprise you with my opinion. I got know about some japanese musicians from friends. No internet at all. I visited a few anime fests, where guys played a covers with their bands. It's all really nice. Since then, I joined vkontakte.ru and saw two YUI fan-groups. Quickly I realised that admins and members there were lazy with news, pics, discussions, etc. Sad but true, but I think if you care about your lovely artist — you'll join a big international forum/communty. That's what I do! With that, I dunno why you need russian subforum here? What you will posting? For all russian fans I can say that english language is not hard. I will ask admins to do it in condition NO ONE from vkontakte.ru will go to forum I made about YUI. And maybe I won't do it. Russian subforum here means that I just wasted my time designing my forum... |

Sorry, I just have a point that any non-international forum about Japanese music is half-dead (except Chinese and Korean forums, of course). Don't waste your time with launching another. Social networks is right place for small fanbases nowadays. Edited by D!zzy, Jan 30 2010, 02:56:49 PM.

Maybe I understood you wrong (then im sorry) :sry But why are you requesting a subforum then anyway? Because it's quite a lot of effort to make this idea work, and if you're not even sure you want it... |
