He has directed a total of eight YUI MVs so far (official version): >>2007 『My Generation』, 『jam』, >>2008 『Laugh away』, 『SUMMER SONG』, 『I'll be』, >>2009 『again』, 『It's all too much』, 『Never say die』 In his latest blog post, he listed his personal Best 10 MV of 2009 and 『Never say die』 made the list! Quote: Best 10 ・EXILE『Futatsu no Kuchibiru』・Amuro Namie『Fast Car』・Koda Kumi『SHOW GIRL』・Dream Come True『GOOD BYE MY SCHOOL DAYS』・HOME MADE Kazoku『YOU~Anata ga iru shiawase～』・YUI『Never say die』・Katou Miliyah『Aitai』・Kuroki Meisa『criminal』・Beni『Kiss Kiss Kiss』・Nakashima Mika『Over Load』 Source (special thanks to yuistalker) I agree that NSD is one of the better PVs in 2009 compared to again and IATM. YUI really seemed like she was having fun jamming on stage. (My personal fav of 2009 is Sea though) But after so many PVs and recent ones being...quite generic (my personal opinion) I think there needs to be something new. ...Time for a new director? I would think it's him. Some familiar camera moves in the PV... :rolleye But her earlier PV directors are great! Loved LIFE, Tokyo, IRY, Tomorrow's way...probably because they have different directors and it feels fresh each time? Not too say Shigeaki Kubo does a bad job but once you work together for so long, the ideas get stagnant. =P
