Orz... Shiba-chan's picture was taken from the opposite view(the door to be precise) and we could only see YUI's back... And now. This...Is It? Shigezo, what the hell? >_> '･･･shibarakuhanseicyu-' <---Hansei can also be related to regretting something. Is it because he posted a very clear picture of YUI in the hamburger post and got warned about it or something? Anyway...looking forward to this one~! But I doubt the new single will be released on 20th January. There's only 45 days left. Again's pre-order was out more than 2 months before the single was released. IATM/NSD too I think. We can only guess which one among the songs she has worked on that will become the Benesse CM song. 12 string one? Harmonica(if any)? This one with the keyboard? Hmm~ |

Oh, that's certainly a viable possibility. Recall that the prize for the Benesse Attack Pledge competition is also digital version of the CM song. And the previous digital single Laugh Away is also coincidentally a CM song which was released just before the new album. But as far as we know from the diaries, work have been limited to the studio. No PV, Jacket shoot or any promo/info yet...so to do all that in 45 days? ...I dunno. :rolleye
Erm...maybe it's some crazy chords for the new song? And by the way, I checked out some of the comments on Hisashi Kondo's post. They were pretty enlightening...and funny. Translated a few: hanseichu-？ photo ni tsuite desuka？ YUIさんの顔が『バキュフゥン!!』ってなってる..笑 YUI-san's face 'Exploded!!'...lol しっかり、肖像権を意識した画像で(笑). That's certainly a picture with 'image copyright' firmly in mind eh? SO, in conclusion, looks like the likely reason YUI's face was so obviously 'hidden' like that is because of copyright issue. Hisashi Kondo probably was masking his displeasure (at SONY?) by making the censorship so obvious like that. As a rule, you are required to follow the copyright law of the country in which you plan to use (publish) the images." They are: copyright held by the author of the image itself (two-dimensional art work or photograph); copyright held by the creator of the object in the image; copyright held by the publisher of an image published previously; the ownership rights held by the owner of the object in the photograph, which may be a museum, a temple or a individual person; and portrait rights held by the photographed person in the image." "On the other hand, Japanese copyright law has different requirements about the need for permission depending on how the image is to be used. In some cases, Japanese law considers the use a citation and waives the requirement to obtain permission. If an image is being used as "supplemental, illustrative, or in reference to understanding the discussion and strictly subordinate to the main text" (Translated from the original: Yoshida, Taisuke. Chosakuken ga meikai ni naru 10-sho (Shuppan Nyususha, 2005: p. 218-219), the usage is viewed as reference, which exempts the image user from the requirement to obtain permission from its copyright holder. The law distinguishes this use from cases in which the text is mainly introductory to or commentary on the image, which means the image becomes the "main" part of the discussion, not "subordinate" to the discussion." From the part in bold, I think Hisashi Kondo is well within the allowed limits. I'm sure YUI as the one with the portrait rights wouldn't have minded. The main problem is SONY imho. They are the ones that claim the responsibility to protect the rights of their artists right? Something like "the ownership rights held by the owner of the object in the photograph". SO when your BOSS tells you to stop using YUI's images on your site...even if it's within the law, you still have to do it right? >_> P/S: That's just a speculation on my part (from the comments made). Does anybody know why they are making such a big deal about single-take, whole band recording? Could it be a response to the comments from the Again PV shoot? Surely it couldn't be to save money.....maybe it's a psychological trick to get their heads ready for a concert tour??? But you'ld think that getting the perfect recording would be the most important. Hmmmm Any thoughts? @ Kikino...are bubbles coming out of your mouth as you speak? If no bubbles you are not finished with your punishment. :la@ __________________________________ Hmmm Kikino keeps editing his posts...... Yes, I was remembering a shot from a radio show....which some people here made some uncomplementary statements about. Maybe YUI just didn't feel like putting on makeup. I came back to see the blog entry of Hisashi in the hamburger-ya... and weirdly there is this "romaji" note below as well: （A-3)…out? icchi☆dou-omou?out-kana? Roughly translates as: (A-3) is out? Icchi .. what do you think? about this getting out? (A-3) refers to the photo with YUI's face shown. Posted Image AND I noticed the "somewhat-unrelated" title to the post (about them visiting a hamburger shop): なにげにチャレンジャーですよ・・・ which roughly translates to... "Unexpected challenger..." Challenging Sony? Hmm we can suspect. I tried reading the comments below as well just like what you did in the recent blog entry and there were some asking Hisashi-san if (A-3) will be okay: (1) A-3,,ummm‥tabun daizyoubudeha naidesyouka! kitto nanntokanarimasu YUIsandesumono!? (2) icchi-☆san doudekka!? safe desuyone!? >>and they are writing it in romaji form. Is this somewhat a secret code for Hisashi-Icchi-Fans? Then, this comment... LOL. Thanks but no thanks. Anyone can google. Just type "image copyright japan"~ :YUIFace I don't usually read the comments so I'm not familiar with them, except for nowayyui...But they seem to be regular readers of the blog so I think they should have more than an inkling what it was about.
One of the comments did thought that it was YUI who got mad. But hmm, do you think so? Shigezou have been posting YUI's pics for some time now. Yeah, most of them has her face being hidden (in humorous ways)...but there were some obvious ones too. Like the farm pictures...YUI reads his blog and recommends it in her super official diary too so I don't think she would have minded...Mr.Sorny probably started stalking Shigezo's blog after that? Hehe.
Oho. I think the 'out' here is taken from the baseball context. Whether the ball (image in this case) is within the acceptable range or out. One of the comment touched on this as well, "The picture the other day was out huh?". So this probably meant that he knows there's a danger of posting this picture as it is too obvious (honestly, it was the best YUI picture he ever posted! XP). But the fact that he's asking Icchi(A&R) in the P/S notes...<speculate here> Nicely noted about the romaji, yupeh! That's interesting. Yeah, I think it's some sort of a sign that what they were discussing is 'sensitive'? And romaji doesn't count as official language so they won't get into trouble? Lol... But the "Unexpected Challenger" title, I still think it means YUI putting her signature n picture on the wall. Along with the other famous people who did.
This person commented on the owner of the image rights too. "As long as the picture posted is taken by that person, then he should be allowed to post them. Also, just telling YUI, "I'll be posting this picture on my blog okay" should be good enough. " Yes, I agree. But the problem is, does signing with SONY means they sign away their image rights too? :rolleye |
