M249 SAW piles up the bodies in BF3. Posts: 976 Group: YUI Lovers Member #24,957 Joined: Apr 7 2009	I've tried writing japanese words in here using Windows' Asian keyboard capability. But when I post the mail the words are turned to garbage. However I've seen some folks who have Asian script words in their members tagline. Does it mean that only advance ones get to display Asian languages?

This is very anoying because then the computer automatically uses different characters for the word each time you press the space bar -_- So that's messed up too

When I type in Japanese over here, the words appear as normal. But once I press 'Add Reply' it turns to garbage, not squares. ��ɓ��{�ꂪ��Ȃ�� I've just written 'koko ni nihongo ga kakenai' - 'I can't write Japanese over here' as an example. It appears as it should before I posted.. but when I post this....

When I change Firefox in "View -> Character Encoding -> Personalize list" and add Japanese encoding, with the "Japanese Shift_JIS" I can see the characters perfectly. Hope it helps a bit.

Posts: 976 Group: YUI Lovers Member #24,957 Joined: Apr 7 2009	I've just done that change you suggested with IE and now my previously typed words have appeared like MAGIC! ��肪�Ƃ��I However, it's a bit temperemental..... I think it has to be 'Japanese auto select' or else the words will turn to nonsense with each refresh, then you have to manually select 'Shift IJS' each time.
