The drama isn't as moving as the movie version. Somehow, it felt ridiculously slow-moving compared with the movie - I practically dozed off through the middle episodes. And if I have to say so, Sawajiri Erika doesn't have a tenth of the talent YUI does =P

Back to the topic - yes I did cry, twice. I don't know about the rest of you, but I cried once when her father broke down beside the doctor (isn't it moving to see a grown man cry?), and of course, when Good-bye Days played for the final time. :cry

Great film, and great acting by YUI for a debut!

I still sometimes get a bit misty when I just hear the song, and it hits the bridge. I can picture her singing into the mic in the studio, all intense, knowing this is all she can do and that's it, I'm done. :cry

i like the story..just feel like although Kaoru(Yui) know she would die,yet she always live her life to the fullest... didn't she tell us that "I'm going to live on with all my might".
I'm not crying, but somehow think that living life is not easy.Yui's life alone wasn't easy at all because she had lost her dad in a very young age.

@cyberdoll: the drama version take the story on much serious note. There even some scenes that i dont really get why they are so stress about. The movie is much more relax.

I watched the movie with smile (mostly) but the part where she is in the coffin gives me goosebumps...

How could I not?
It was very sad...
I still feel a bit emotional every time I hear Good-Bye Days after watching it being played towards the end in the movie.

She's mine. <3

when Kaoru's dad cried in the hospital
when Kaoru told him that she would still sing even though her hands can no longer play the guitar
when Kouji was standing at the end (in the area where Kaoru plays) listening to the cd

Ahhh, im not one to cry at movies, but this really did hit me. :sry
Great movie indeed.

Actually no. I cried right after watching it because crying during the movie would have blurred my vision and distracted me, I was about to during several parts though.

Nope, because when I first watched it; it took me a while to understand and that's when I only started to get into JPOP Culture. But, I'd say now; I wouldn't cry even if I watched it unless it carries out really strong emotions (like 1 Litre of Tears).

I didn't cry when I watched it the first time, mainly because I was watching it with my cousin in a very hot room on holiday! xD Yeh, the moment really wasn't there because we were so tired from shopping and the heat was just too much.

I cried watching it the second time. This time, I watched it properly without any distractions in my room by myself~

I cried when Kouji cried after Kaoru told him she would still sing
I cried when they were at the beach and Kaoru was on that white suit and her dad told her to just take out the helmet.
And then when she stretched Kaoru face like he did to her before.
But it really hit me when she appeared on the coffin
I did start to cry like a baby when they were listening her song at the end
:cry
And then I saw the "Good-Bye Days" PV and I started to cry again :sry
