I think its unfair to categorized her acting just basing on the character she plays, I would really love to see her play a different role, I think she got a shot in acting, like I said she should consider acting as a second career! don't you think so too guys? you see if she plays a different role from what she portrays(Kaoru) in TaiYOuNoUta I think finally we could see her true potential, a character that is far from her personality, A character that wouldn't describe her self(YUI) and wouldn't have any connection with her, "I mean without the guitar thing" I know she can do it, cause she's a hard working girl... I can only imagine what she would be like if she pursue acting as a career! I can see her as a drama queen^_^ again.. I've said too much!! |

YUI's acting is excellent~! :suki .and sooooo kawaii~! :suki :suki :suki .it kinda surprise me on how she acted, but she did very well even though it was her first movie. :clap .she looks so cute and innocent. and she's perfect for Amane Kaoru's role. .thanks to the ever good director who chose her. :clap |

Hello. Finally I'm already validated. Now, I have watched Taiyou no Uta. I lol'd at the part where YUI chased the guy up to the rails. And told him her favorite stuffs. lol. But overall, even though I'm a huge fan of YUI, her acting for me is just average. I mean, it is not her passion. If she's going to pursue acting, she should undergo acting workshops, etc. Although, Taiyou no Uta was a good and tearjerker movie. |

I think YUI did alright for not being a professional actress, she was just so cute though.. :suki I couldn't help my self from repeating the part of her introduction to the guy and this --> :YUIFace .. and many other scenes XD |

LOL quoting a 2 year old post :sry anyways I wanna say that I watch Taiyou no Uta just a few weeks ago... hmmm I'm not a fan yet at the time... and I think it's really good (It actually converted me to be a YUI fan... hahhaa) as for YUI's acting.... I think it's ok. well she's a singer not an actress and her debut acting is actually good (maybe because she did it naturally) :good |

the story is quite slow in the start and have a sudden end for me(please dont kill me!!!) but i love how YUI-san play her character in the movie. the face reactions and the innocent-look is too real! she's to cute!(especially when i see her teary eyes when she's with kouji-kun). its makes me watch it again and again (^^,) |
