I came across this site when I was searching for the real spelling of my name. I've always thought it was アナ, but while I was in Japan, someone wrote it as アンナ. I figure the Japanese person knew better, because they're Japanese :lol: But I just wanted to make sure.. and sure enough, this site writes it as アンナ. This site will generate your name in Katakana. Well it make sense 'cuz Anna has 2 n's. For me, at first I thought my name Albert was アルバト (ARUBATO), but it turns out they elongate, the "ber" part so it's アルバ一ト (ARUBAATO). |

I'm not too good in japanese, but converting my chinese name into Kranji, my name is 傑仁. So if you convert to kun'yomi reading style, the katakana would be read as スクレルヒト, sugureru hito |

actually, it's more like KURISUTEIIN (with a very short E) since テ is pronounced "te". they use that because they don't have any "ti", only "chi" (チ). same thing when they write "t-shirt" (ティーシャツ). anyway, my name in katakana is pretty simple. アーロン. |

It seems to be that Jênn is the gallicized version of the chinese character 仁, which is called "Jin" in Japanese (and means virtue; benevolence; humanity; charity; man XD). So it would be... ジルジェヌ or ジル仁 |

as usual they gotten my name wrong! hehe my name is rob (pronounce as RAB) and they spelled it as ROBBU when in fact it should have been.. RABU this is because japanese translates names (especially those that have confusing pronunciation) into katakana by pronunciation not by spelling (according to my professor) |

My name is not pronounceable in Japanese, as they don't have either of the vowel sounds that are combined to make it. The closest they come is Shoon, spelled ショーン, those I always thought Shoan (ショアン) would be closer. They disagree XD |

Hey guys... I've tried but my name is too weird... T.T My name is MIKAELLY... They give some options (Mikael, Miguel, Mckayla, Macauley), but no oO I've seen in another website and the closest they have is MIKAELA (ミカエラ)... Another one showed it as "ミカエッ" and I don't know if it's correct... Can anyone help me? I really would like to know... u.u PS: I really don't know anything of japanese *shame on me* |

"ミカエッ" spells as Mikae. The last e pronounce short light with a near fullstop.. its hard to explain =p Mine is エルリン (Erurin) My name is actually Elrin, but japanese cant seem to tell the difference between L and R @@ So my japanese teacher told me its Erurin |
