I regret having myself listened to that Cantonese song that he sang in one of his live... It was a Jordan Chan's (陳小春) song but I forgot the title of it... Don't get me wrong... I personally like Jay too but then his Cantonese just couldn't make it... I beg him not to have another try... :scare Btw... I still think his first 2 albums the best of all... Jay and Fantasy... |

umm bearbox u can actually spell it in either way... because chou for most westerners ... would have a totally different pronunciation. Jay actually can speak canto althought in taiwan we dont speak canto...he isnt that good at it tho but i assume he will definitely get better and will write more canto songs in the near future |

No, no, and no. We don't speak Canto :angry . In fact, we Taiwanese speak better Japanese then Cantonese imo =P I'm sure most people have heard of Jay Chou, or at least listened to his songs before. Anyhow, he's a great singer with meaningful lyrics. In ways like YUI I guess, although he can't play the guitar (he's an absolute genius at piano though). If someone wants recommendations, here's a list of my favorites from him (in no particular order): 1. "稻香" (Rice Aroma) 2. "超人不會飛" (Superman Cannot Fly) 3. "菊花台" (Chrysanthemum Terrace) 4. "千里之外" (Far Away) 5. "聽媽媽的話" (Listen to Mother) Of course, there's more, but there's simply too many to list. |
