How to play guitar chords

If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, there are a several good guitar chord apps. I use two of them. One is simply called Chords by Adam Zapletal. It's basic with no frills. It offers 28 different chord types for each note. It's very easy to dial up the chord you want. It won't sound the chord for you, but you'll be able to see how to make the chord on a large, easy to read diagram. Even better, it's free.

The other one I use is Guitarist's Reference from Maj9.com. It's $2.99 if you want all the features, or free if you want a stripped down version with a few ads up front. It has chords, scales, tunings, arpeggios, and several other features. I'm thinking about getting the full version, though. It expands on the good features already in the free version. I recommend at least trying the free version to see if you like it or not.
