How r you all guys? =P
Well i'm continuing my guitar lessons and this time i have to play a song with octaves and fifths. I think i know how to do the fifths cause i had some chords and could find the others I need but i couldn't understand how to do the octaves.. can anyone help me doing them? :what

I need: D8,E8,F8 and G8

if my definition is correct octaves are basically playing 2 same notes at the same time, just that one note is at a higher octave than the other.

so to simplify things, its basically a power chord minus the middle note played by your ring finger.

the octave of D would be:

|------
|------
|----7- <---this is also D, but at a higher octave
|----x-
|----5- <-- this note is D
|------
